THE GREEDY DOG

This is the story of a dog. He was very greedy. One day he went to a butcher's shop. He stole a bone and ran away. He reached a stream outside the town. 

There was a bridge over the stream. The dog went to the middle of the bridge. He looked into the water. He saw his reflection. He thought it was another dog. The other dog, too, had a bone in his mouth. The greedy dog wanted to have that dog's bone  also. So he started barking. His own bone fell into the water. He had to go hungry. He felt very sad. 

This story teaches a lesson : Don't be greedy.
