15. Gautam Buddha was born in 563 BC , at Kapilavastu , Nepal. Buddha belonged to kshtriya clan. Buddha left his home at the age of 29 and wandering for 7 years. Buddha attained knowledge at the age of 35 at Bodh Gaya under a pipal tree. Buddha died at Kushinagar at the age of 80. Buddha followed eight fold path .
