1. India’s Real GDP Growth Estimated at 7.8% in Q1 FY 2026–27


India’s real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is estimated to have grown by 7.8% in the first quarter (April–June) of FY 2026–27. This compares with 6.9% growth in Q1 of FY 2025–26.


According to the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), nominal GDP grew by 10.3%, while real GVA grew by 8.2% during Q1 FY 2026–27. The tertiary sector recorded particularly strong growth of 10.0%.

2. Departmental Summit on Water Security


The Ministry of Jal Shakti is conducting a two-day Departmental Summit on 1–2 September 2026 at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, New Delhi.


The summit focuses on strengthening cooperation between the Centre and States and developing time-bound action plans for water security.

3. Prime Minister Participates in 26th SCO Summit

5. PM to Address Water Security Summit
