The Government of India has announced that all Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) will function normally on Sunday, 27 September 2026.
The decision was taken because a proposed nationwide bank strike is scheduled from 28 to 30 September 2026, following the weekend holidays. The Reserve Bank of India has permitted bank branches, offices, ATM-linked branches and currency chests to remain operational on 27 September.

2. India Shines at Asian Games 2026

3. 138th Episode of Mann Ki Baat

6. Government’s Borrowing Plan for Second Half of FY 2026–27
