Indo - Pacific Region
The Indo - Pacific region is a vast biogeographic region of Earth. This region includes the areas of Asia, Africa, Australia and America. It also comprises the tropical waters of the Indian Ocean, the Western and Central Pacific Ocean , and the seas connecting the two. It is a maritime region that spans the Indian and Pacific Oceans. It is nearly two- thirds of the world's economy.

Major agreements among countries in this region:
1. Asia - Pacific Trade Agreement: This agreement also known Bangkok Agreement. Its main aim is to boost up economic development among the participating countries. Its member countries includes- India, China , Bangladesh ,Sri Lanka , Lao , Mongolia and South Korea.
2. Indo - Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity:
It is launched by U.S. President Joe Biden in May 2022. Its four fillers are- a) trade, b) supply chain, c) clean energy, decarbonization and infrastructure and d) Tax and Anti- Corruption. Its member countries are - India, Australia, Brunei, Fiji , Indonesia , Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam etc. Its main aim is to promote economic growth, resilience , fairness, sustainability and inclusiveness and competitiveness in this region.
