Once I saw a Little Bird 

Once I saw a Little Bird

Come hop , hop , hop 

I cried , " Little bird, 

Will you stop , stop , stop ?"

I was going to the window 

To say , " How do you do ? "

But he shook his little tail 

And away he flew.

As you sat 

On the mat 

Did you dream 

Of a mouse 

Or a big rat 

In our house?

Oh , no ! 

Not , So !

For I always

dream

Of a bowl of

cream 

And a dish 

Full of fish

Butterfly, Butterfly

With you I want to fly 

I take turn towards every side 

To catch you before you hide.
